Well, as of this writing the movie has earned 7.5 million dollars. The big news is that a law suit by Yoko Ono has now shut the movie down. As far as I am concerned I have always enjoyed John Lennon's song "Imagine" and being non-religious, I have no serious trouble with the "Imagine no religion" type of phrases in the song.
I have always taken the message to be primarily about peace with a few undiplomatic, conflict-producing, war-inducing jabs at religion thrown in for "good measure" -- you know for "war's sake." As a peace song it is quite a pleasant piece of musical hypocracy. Any thoughts anyone?
